This snow-tiger actually came about as a result of having a vision of a Power Animal which came to be with me for a time.
Oh. My. Goodness. This is my power animal as well. I met him after a very long Journey. Oh… How lovely
He may come, therefore, to grace us at a particular point in our lives. How beautiful is that?.
He has been with me for several years now.
Let’s see, you have posted Otter, White Tiger and Horse. Great Blue Heron is the last one. lol.
Funny you should say that! I did a little snippit of writing about the heron not so long ago. I havent drawn him yet, but had a powerful interaction with one, seeing his reflection flying towards me through a pc screen and window behind me. And they are about balance, stillness, self-reflection. I certainly saw his reflection, and caught sight of my own. :)
I like the airy technique of not outlining your animals entirely, like they are stepping out of spirit into body, or like they are both. I’m realizing how much I’ve habitually tuned out the spirit side of things nature, through my upbringing, so I’m re-opening old pathways.
@sharon, I dont find you tuned out to the spirit side of nature, rather, extremely tuned in! Perhaps, its just an acknowledgement – within yourself. You are a joyous nature spirit yourself, with whom nature plays constantly in every way.
Thank you! I love that! But I do feel within me the places that automatically close. I think I’ve always had the connection with nature, but yes, acknowledging it…then so much more opens. I just keep learning and sensing and experiencing more and more…as I let go of how it ”should” be and other limiting thoughts. It’s like life is coming to life. Bursting to life!

You might be interested in this website called http://www.poweranimalsunleashed.com once there click on the Enchanted Forest and see which animal is with you at this time…it is wonderful!
This is so kewl! Mine is the zebra! Considering I am South African and all the work I’ve been doing on my Shadow project, thinking about light and dark and my own individuality, it’s not a coincidence! :)
AMAZING and magical isn’t it?
I got the unicorn. I was thinking about building something like that for HG… more like a daily tarot card pull or something.
I got goosebumps lol! Thanks for sharing, Marie-Cecile :)
@Suzanne, a daily tarot could be fun! :)
Thank you Marie-Cecile :) Wonderful :)
I was a gorilla today, beating my chest and letting the world know who I am!. And leading for a cause, and that there would be many who wish to follow. Well, we all know that leading and following are all about loving guidance and all of us coming together as friends in equality and Love. So, I might meet many more beautiful loving friends! Like you!
Smiling at Suzanne, so thats a freesian horse, seeing horses come in your Earth healing work, and now, a Unicorn. See what I mean, Suzanne? :)
So Rosi, claiming your power hey? I got the lionness, always being able to take care of herself and her own, abundance
I just got the panther :)
Panther is an amazing animal spirit to have with you. Sometimes, difficult to fathom, but its incredible.
Panther: reclaiming one’s owm power. also associated with Jesus family name Jesus Ben Panther. You have come w/ you ”light” already on (you are already enlightened) Alternate realities will open up for you.
Panther is the spirit of imminent RebirthThis is a personal totem for me. It has led me on the longest journey, throughout my life. Personally, it has been very much about the dance with the unknown and much magic. I think this is one of those totems we need to personally engage with and observe how it interacts with us, as it is very powerful. Re-birth yes, but more.
That looks like just the sort of resource I’ve been wondering about! I can’t wait to check it out!
Wow! Thank you!!
I just went there and I got the peacock. Very cool!
I love this web site! I got the betterfly. It’s about transformation and that is exaclty where I’m at. So I did it again and thsi time got the buffalo which is about inner strength and steady movement forward. I love this!
I just went there as well and since I have been feeling so driven to write lately I wondered who was with me, I got the Dolphin, so words flow easily…love this site too
How would you all like to collaborate on a unique tool like this for HG? We get to choose all the symbolism, write all the wisdom and even create the artwork! I’m also thinking about setting up an online Te Tao Ching system.
Sounds like fun! What kind of system did you have in mind? Tarot?
Anything like that… pick a card, pick a number, pick something on the screen intuitively. Then we reveal the meaning behind that ”thing”.
Cool!
I like it!
Sounds like fun! :)

Walking in the fields last week, where we keep our horses, I was enchanted to find a little badger fur. I was amazed at its softness and the purity of the white and black colours, and weaved with gold. Sometimes, we can connect in wonderful ways by touching something like this. I was aware Badger medicine was at play. In Wales, they have recently decided to cull (slaughter) badgers in an attempt to halt bovine TB even though no evidence has proved that badgers pass it on; even after a detailed study of it. Then last week I found out that in England there is a proposal to do the same. The English Badger is so much a part of the wildlife of our countryside and I am so saddened by this. Thankfully, the Badger Protection League have set up a petition we may sign to oppose it. Then, yesterday, I felt it was imperative for me to set about drawing this most beautiful creature.
I just looked, and it doesnt appear to say that people outside the UK cannot sign the petition. If you feel guided, please take a moment to read the information and about the supporters, people such as Sir David Attenborough – and then simply sign the petition. You never know, it might just help to have voices from around the world, saying the same thing.
I love the splashes of color in this badger. I’ll take a look at that website.

Rosi do you have an Freesians you’re boarding? They’re my favorite.
Beautiful Rosi!! You really capture their essence!!
Hi Yvonne – thank you, that’s about the best compliment anyone could pay me :).
Suzanne, no freesians here, but they are so very beautiful – I love them too. My husband who is 6’4” learned to ride on a black freesian, we had to travel to another county for him to take his lessons. Some people have them for wedddings/funerals here, I dont know about other parts of the world. They, amongst others are very magical – their beauty is breathtaking.I was OBSESSED with horses as a child and the black Freesian was on the top of my list. I think I would faint if I were to see one again. One of my friends has one, but he lives a long way from where I am. Not sure if you’ll be able to see this… he may have his pictures set to private: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1009856739036
Omg, absolutely beautiful!! Thank you for sharing that link – what beauty. Arent they just divinity embodied, the beauty, grace and flow. :) Freesians particularly embrace these three aspects and are so magestic too, dont you think.
Oh my they just take my breath away. I mean look at the way that one carries himself :-O Humbling. Their majestic energy is something we should all embody. This of how many we could inspire if we were as they are. Makes my heart flutter!
That’s one beautiful horse @Suzanne!!
I know. I want. I may have to drive up there to see him and get my picture taken with him :D
Bring the popcorn! I’m in!
Last year, I added a day of ’Awareness with Horses’ after a Reiki I Attunement. It was incredible. One of the exercises for the day was to go through each of the breeds physical and emotional/spiritual qualities, which I guided, and then ask each of them to identify themselves with a particular breed of horse from the information provided. It was amazing, and such fun – to see the identifications and reflections. So, the Freesian and what that means to you; much majesty, beauty, power, finesse yet gentleness are just some of the qualities of the Freesian. :) Are you seeing your reflection? Suzanne, I feel you have something within your spirit calling you to see the horses, to be with them – its a natural presence within your being, and which may lead to something quite beautiful. I have been seeing this for a while now. :) Yvonne, I know that you have already expressed an interest to be with them once again. :).
Ugh don’t make me cry. I do not live a life which easily includes horses, but I do feel the aspect of myself from another time that still carries that horse in his heart. Actually my older dog in this life was a horse of mine in another life.
Suzanne, I wonder if the connection I see is etherically. Also, was your horse black in times gone by? for I can see a spiritual horse which is black but which is still very much in existence in the now.
Yes, the dog that is with me now was a black Freesian then :) and she is as regal today as she was then. Marie-Cecile told me once that the one that is this dog is actually a pegasus spirit, but I’m not exactly sure what all that means. She would have to explain that one.
Now that’s an interesting idea Rosi! I do know I relate better to some breeds than others and there are some I can hardly relate to at all. When thinking about it, their qualities really are the reflection of the same qualities in myself, which now also make me better understand why I like some better than others. It’s also in the breeds I relate to well I feel I can get the connection we talked about earlier, while with the others it does not come as naturally.

Horses as Healers and Teachers : An interaction with horses can be very powerful, as their loving essence reveals to us strongly associated emotions. The way that I perceive horses is that they are Divinity embodied, that they are the essential essence of a free, loving spirit whose love radiates such as the innocence of a child, and with the wisdom of the Ages. This childlike quality asks us to be good and deeply loving friends, all we need to do is ask, and make requests. Cont’d ..

River otters?
Yes, river otters :)
I love the way otters play together, in the spirit of the water, as One. :)
And don’t they snort like little old men? Around here, they do belly slides on snowy slopes.
Rosi they are beautiful, their eyes speak to me. I love otters and their playfulness.
Sharon, your description is so lovely :) belly slides on snowy slopes. :). Marie-Cecile, thank you so very much; well you are very playful :).
You can’t get much better inspiration for poetry or any kind of art than from nature.
I could not agree more :)
Oh, I have chills. I identify so much with otters. In fact, the name of my past business (aromatherapy, herbal remedies) is LaughingOtter.
Filled with joy, the little otters intertwine as two become One in the Spirit of Water, who blesses their playful innocence. :)
Sorry, Staci but that came through as I read your post and I had to write that before asking you what you feel is a reflection of you, and which you can see in the otters? Arent animals such amazing messengers.
They truly are. Otters are uncontained JOY. And so often I have that feeling and have no idea how to express that utter feeling of JOY!
I do, it just comes out of me seemingly unfettered, . I think at some point I gave myself permisssion to express that uncontainable inner joy
Staci, you have so much of it in you! Your eyes and being emmanate and sparkle with it so. One of these days those bubbles of joy will just overflow!
Aw, thank you. Most of the time I just stand outside and just BE. I laugh, I sing, dance and let how I feel out to intertwine with Nature. It is hard to do that during the work day. lol.
Ah yes, they might think you are a little nuts if you do that @ work!
The patients would. My coworkers wouldn’t. lol. We are all so different here that we accept all of our little ’oddities’.
I am relating to this joy. Sometimes I give the trees hi 5s on my runs–I’m sure they’re greeting/cheering for me. And when I say hello to them I can’t help but beam with joy.
@sharon, living tree beings, helping you along your way! :)
Look at you, @-ing away! Yes, trees are great beings, so expressive. On a visit to the desert of Arizona, I fell in love with the saguaros and their many expressive postures. I believe they don’t grow their first branching arm until they’re 75-100 years old!
Wow, Sharon, thank you for that wonderful information :) You are such a beautiful spirit.
Thank you, friend of fairies! So are you–bright and beautiful.

A mixture of the very hot days and the extremely cold nights has made my horses winter coat look like gossamer wings; she is my Angel, of course. Rosi F
I love your posts! Where in the UK do you live? I’ve traveled there extensively via novels (Dickens, James Herriot, Susan Cooper and Joan Aiken) and I love the grittiness and idiosyncracies of London, the wildness of Wales, and the landscape and people of the Yorkshire Dales. Maybe someday I’ll be lucky enough to travel there in person!
Hi Sharon, I live in South West England at the moment, in what is known as the three counties. However, I was born in Wales :). I’m so glad that you have travelled here through novels and hope that one day
you will be able to come here :). Thank you so much
for appreciating my posts; nature is so wonderful isnt it. I try to share some of the magic moments of my day. There’s lots of magic to share in the springtime!
Sharon, yes! So much!. Are you seeing any signs of Spring where you are yet? I think you were still in the winter process the last time you spoke about it. We both also resonate with fairies :). Another beautiful resonance.
Cool, fairies! And that is brand new for me, I mean on the conscious level anyway, so I have no idea what wonderful moments that will bring. It feels very fun, and my girls are loving the idea of fairy gardens….As for spring, we have gorgeous sun which I think will melt this last bit of snow before the week’s over…the cardinals and other birds are singing like crazy, and the great blue herons are gathering back in their treetop rookery. I’ll keep my eye out for more signs when I go out for my run!

Danced with a heron yesterday morning. He was calling and caught my attention, he then circled the house and through the reflection of my pc screen I saw him coming towards the house through the window behind me. His shadow cast across the sunny balcony as he flew to the roof tip above where I sit. Seeing my presence on the balcony he flew to the field behind our home & sat directly behind me about a 1/4 mile away. His wings rose & fell magestically, but his body remained balanced; reflection.

We have lots of frogs and toads in our pond at the moment, and they make two most beautiful sounds, high tones and low croaks. A little frog medicine.
Where are you? I can’t wait to start hearing the frogs and toads, but we’re still iced in here in Minneapolis.
Oh, I can’t wait. I live 2 blocks from a pond and I love the toad chorus. Where are you that spring has already sprung? We’re under snow and ice in MN.
Hi Sharon :) I am in the UK. And the chorus is profound; they seem to have times to sing and times to completely disappear. :)

I came home from settling in the horses last night to find a frog in the drive. Thinking he may get injured, I picked him up to take him to our pond; walking across the lawn with him sitting in the palm of my hands, I knew I just had to kiss him. And I did. It was a moment, when I thought of all the fairytales and stories, and just knew I had to do it. A moment of magic with a frog. :)
What??? No prince? Maybe it takes longer to manifest than the story implies ;-)
Aaaah, but it is the Prince/the Beloved Within that has been reawakened!!!!!
I love that – the beloved within. :) It sounds magical, doesnt it? I do feel that something special happened, and of course connecting with a kiss to a frog means you have images of water-spirits, nymphs, damsel and dragon-flies and water-lillies. Beauties of the water.
You two are funny – you’re like two old friends that have been having tea together for a thousand years, probably more! Please pass the scones :D
LOL :)
Now I get the scones thing Rosi….I needed to read this post before answering your message!

The bats were dancing in the light of dusk yesterday evening, where the horses are in their new home. Dancing a sonar dance over and around the Oaks. Dancing in the re-birth of Spring.

’Rosie Fairy’.
In Belgium, my mother used to put a horseshoe above the front door, with the open side up to attract prosperity in the house, this fairy reminds me of this, this might well be her message, she looks like she is just waiting patiently for the abundance to fall in! lovely
Gosh, Marie-Cecile – I had forgotten that link with
the horseshoe open like this. And I drew it just
as we were talking last week!. Amazing. Thank you
for sharing your abundance of insight and wisdom. It has meant so much to me to connect with you.WOW WOW WOW! NOW THAT’S REALLY EXCITING! I seem to have an over abundance of enthusiasm today, I feel and see soooo… much opening up for me so obviously it is in the process of opening up for all. The connection is so very meaningful to me as well Rosie,
Opening as a flower opens her petals. I do believe that’s what we are doing, opening and blossoming.
Flower souls, blossoming – opening into the light of all.
I have to say I LOVE the strange and magical connections this site is making possible. Amazing.

Authenticity of Spirit
’Being around horses for me, enhances my very being in about every which way you could conceive, and I am truly humbled by their truly giving nature, as Love and friendship radiates from within them in any given moment, and in a truly unconditional way. They respond powerfully to the authenticity of our Spirit. The part of us which is beyond personality, but which is within our very essence, our hearts and souls, and that is because they are so authentic, and it reflectsand enhances from that place of Love, Oneness, unity and truth within us.’ Rosi F (c)
I think that animals have a knack for seeing us for who we really are. They have so much to teach us!
I agree, Nicole. They truly do. All animals, whether it is an animal in our every day life, or one we may encounter for the briefest moment. I have learned so much from them, and long may it continue. Their teaching is in such gentle but profound ways. The Native American’s understanding of animals is something I feel we can all learn so much from. Couple their wisdom with our own observations spiritually, and an open heart and you have the most amazing healers and teachers everywhere. We are all One. :)
Rosi last night as a small group where I live worked with the devas of North America, the animal kingdom came in to participate as well and I witnessed the horses come in in a dramatic way, almost with the wind, their hair flowing. It was magnificent.
Suzanne, that sounds so amazing. I love the deva’s but isn’t it amazing when you see the horses come in in that way? Riding with the Wind. :) Thanks for sharing that, because I felt I could see what you were seeing and it’s just so beautiful :).

Here, we have Devils Claw, Flax and Clover.Rosi your work is just beautiful!
Thank you, Suzanne, and thank you for giving me the opportunity to do this and for helping me with the technology. I really do appreciate it. Thank you.
So here’s your text tip :) You can type a little note about the image before the link to the image if you want. Or you can do it like you did here, pasting just the link to the image and then commenting below it.
This is lovely, Rosi! :)
Thank you Nicole. :) Will be posting more as I get used to how it all works.
I’m tinkering with a Flickr plug-in Rosi. It’s designed to pull all your Flickr photos into your HG account automatically and it can do that for Groups too. It needs a little work, but we may be able to get this working here soon.
Do you use watercolour?
I have done, yes. I love to work with watercolour but Im not accomplished at it; I’d love for the magic of the water to happen but it never quite does. So, I stick to drawing with the watercolour pencils, which I find really versatilte to what Im trying to say. Do you use watercolour?
