WOW ~ no wonder it was so strong! The diffusers I posted here require you to put water in them, then you add a couple drops to the water. Cool steam comes out similar to a vaporizer. I haven’t seen the diffusers that you put a whole bottle in. If you mix them with oil, [...]

You didn’t add drops into anything with that one, you literally screwed a bottle onto the input device. I was using whatever she had already in the bottle so I’m not sure if she premixed the solution herself or what. Guess that answers the question ha ha, but generally speaking how would you mix the [...]

Hi Suzanne, the diffuser I mentioned doesn’t have a dispensing control. Here’s one that does but it is a bit more expensive….http://amzn.to/fjqEtQ How many drops did you put in? I usually put 4 or 5 drops in, but would suggest adding just 1 to help keep the aroma down for you.

Thanks for the tip Traci – someone gave me a simple diffuser once, but I found the concentration in the air to be way too high. It irritated my nose. Do you know if this particular diffuser allows you to control the concentration? Or how would you do that? By diluting the EO?

If you’re diffusing essential oils in your home or office for therapeutic benefits make sure to use an electric diffuser that doesn’t generate heat. Heat generated diffusers including the tea light candle ones are great for diffusing aroma but heat breaks down the chemistry of the oil diminishing their therapeutic values. Spa Mist is my [...]

You should actually create a forum topic for this so it stays around for others to see. These posts in the activity stream fall off the radar after about a day. When you’re in the group, look for the Forum tab and then the ”new forum topic” form.

I love smelly stuff! I hope to see a few other smelly fans join this group. I enjoy making candles, bath salts, incense and soap. Haven’t worked too much with essential oils yet. Just getting into that.
